Prem Santana is a director, writer, veteran actor and graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory. She also founded the Moonfaze Feminist Film Festival, which ran for four years celebrating female-led films from around the globe. In addition to film, Prem’s body of work, deeply influenced by nature, the liminal, the otherwordly and the journey from darkness into light, includes photography and painting. Currently, she is developing multiple projects including three feature films. She is committed to telling stories from the margins, stories that push the limits of genre and identity, stories that conjure connection and evoke change.
